We are glad to announce that the Advanced School and Workshop on Nuclear Physics Signal Processing, ANSiP-2011, will be held on November 21-24, 2011 in the Sicilian town of Acireale, close to Catania (Italy).
It’s that time of the year again! The International Association of Physics Students is organising the annual international trip to CERN, the European Center of Nuclear Research, which includes the LHC (Large Hadron Collider), ATLAS (A Toroidal LHC ApparatuS), CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid), ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) and LHCb as well as other particle physics experiments.
The CERN Winter School on Supergravity, Strings, and Gauge Theory is the
analytic continuation of the yearly training school of the former EC-RTN string
network “Constituents, Fundamental Forces and Symmetries of the Universe”. The 2012 edition of the school is supported and organized by the CERN Theory Divison, and will take place from Monday February 6 to Friday February 10, at CERN.
