Throughout the year, IAPS is managed by a team of nine motivated members making up the Executive Committee (EC) who maintain and develop all IAPS activities. They are democratically elected each year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the ICPS in August so that they can be ready to take over from the previous EC on 1 September.
Any member of IAPS can run for one of the nine positions, consisting of the obligatory President , Treasurer, and Secretary as well as IT Manager, Membership and Alumni Manager, Outreach Manager, PR Manager, Events Manager, and General Member – the General area being special projects and other tasks not already covered.
The Vice-President is chosen by the EC from the latter six people.

Announcing your candidacy can be done at any time before the election but CV and motivational letter may be send beforehand. The first deadline will be in Summer 2021 To apply, send your letter of candidacy, CV, and other relevant documents to email@example.com. Your documents will then be put online and made accessible to any IAPS member. The next AGM will be held in August 2021 in Copenhagen, Denmark, during ICPS 2021 where you will be able to defend your candidacy and answer questions.
